Why am I not getting any response from the serial port?¶

Make sure that you are using a Null Modem cable.
Make sure that you are using the correct serial port settings:
1. Baud Rate = 115200
2. Data = 8 bit
3. Parity = none
4. Stop = 1 bit
5. Flow Control = none

0. Make sure that the 10pin header - DB9 adapter you got is correct. The wire for pin 1 (red stripe) should line up with the triangle mark on the shrouded plug J502, and with the square solder pad of J502 on the underside of the INDIO board at the 10pin header end, and with the hole numbered 1 at the DB9 end.

Make sure that the pin 3 of J502 should connect to pin 2 of PC's DB9.

Make sure that the pin 3 of J502 should connect to pin 2 of PC's DB9.
