The MityDSP serial interfaces may be implemented via one or more USB Serial Bridge devices.
In order to communicate with these devices, a manufacturer- supplied driver must be installed on Windows PC's.
The latest versions of the drivers known to work with the MityDSP USB devices are included in the "software\tools" area of the MDK. It is recommended that the drivers be installed prior to connecting the MityDSP to a PC. There have been reports of problems when Windows is allowed to automatically find and install drivers on its own.
