The MityDSP PTPd port contains the latest PTPd project, and the porting layer and enhancements for the MityDSP. Usually, this library is used with the lwIP library and the RFC-1305 frequency adjustable clock. To attain best possible synchronization, the firmware for the MityDSP internal MAC should be built with optional PTP timestamps enabled.
Documentation for the PTPd port may be found in the ptpd documents directory (in "$(MityDSP_2_2)\sw\3rd_party\ptpd\doc"). The specification for PTP itself is contained in IEEE-1588.
