Write Protect for Non-Volatile NOR Flash

I have a requirement for locking write access to the Non-volatile memory via a hardware pin. I noticed that the NOR Flash for the MitySOM-5CSX module has a hardware write protect pin (W#) when used in dual spi mode. Is this write protect pin brought out to the external interface? If not, can the board be customized for this functionality? Can the same be done for the onboard EEPROM memory?
