DVI on Industrial I/O-Board Rev. B
Added by Christian Rückl over 12 years ago
Hi,
I got my MityDSP Devkit (Industrial I/O Board Rev. B) for around 5 weeks ago and now, as i wanna start with the Qt-StarterGuide, i saw in the LCD-Configuration-Wiki the usage of DVI Interface with the L138-Module (No FPGA) isn't possible.
Is it true? In the Baseboard schematic, the I2C-Port of the L138-Modul is connected to the DVI-Interface. The printed out version in the schematic is also "B".
I'm a little bit confused.
Thanks,
Christian

Hi Christian,
Check out the Industrial IO Revision page for the detailed schematics and information regarding the exact configuration of your board. Our part numbering for this board, unfortunately went through a "dash number" cycle as well as a "revision" cycle. The page should hopefully clarify things a bit. If not, please follow up your question here.
I expect that you are using the most recent version of the board (80-000268RI-2B) and it should support using the DVI interface with a non-FPGA module. There were only a couple boards made that did not support this and they haven't been built in over 2 years.
