Power management in Linux on MityDSP-l138F
Added by jean-pierre bétend-bon about 12 years ago
Hi all,
I would like to know whether there has been any effort to put the L-138 in DEEPSLEEP.
In that case I would like to know what is the power consumption of the board,
(assuming that the FPGA is not running)
Thanks in advance for your help
Cheers
JP

Hello,
We have been able to put the L-138 into DEEPSLEEP mode (using the RTC to wake up the device). This was tested in the 2.6.34 kernel during initial linux testing, however in that mode the external mDDR was kept in internal refresh mode, so power was being consumed by the DDR devices. Is this the mode you are looking for, or are you looking to have the mDDR completely powered down as well? I need to dig up the details on the exact commands used.
