HVIO Speed at 3v3
Added by Naufal Ahmad 8 days ago
Hello,
I'm working on an FMC PCB that will interface with the MitySBC-A5E. The board contains an ADV7611 HDMI receiver and an ADV7513 HDMI transmitter, both of which have decoded pixel bus inputs/outputs at 3v3 logic levels. The pixel clock for our incoming and outgoing HDMI signals runs at 84.75 MHz.
I have heard that the max speed of the HVIO pins is ~100 MHz. Is this the same when adjusted to 3.3 V. If not, would it be low enough to be problematic to use it for signals at 84.75 MHz?
Best,
Naufal

Hi Naufal,
The Agilex-5 datasheet specifies the Input clock frequency source from HVIO clock input at a max of 156.25 MHz for E Series devices.
So I think you should be OK. Though, we have not tested maxing out the HVIO clock input path yet.
With regards,
Mike
