Baseboard Mounting Hole Information¶
The MitySOM-5CSx development kit baseboard includes 4 mounting holes, one at each corner, as well as the module mounting holes. For customers that wish to incorporate their baseboard into a design you can obtain the mounting hole dimensional locations from the following image.
Hole Diameters¶
The diameter for each "type" of hole is shown in the drawing. The table below is a breakdown of each hole usage and its diameter from that drawing.

HSMC Mounting Holes¶
For the two HSMC connectors we have shown the dimensions (orange color) in reference to MH2, the mounting hole at the bottom right of the PCB. For each HSMC the dimension to a single mounting hole are given. From there please consult the Altera HSMC specification (https://www.altera.com/en_US/pdfs/literature/ds/hsmc_spec.pdf) section 2.4.
Heat Spreader Mounting Hole¶
We have only shown the dimension for the single heat spreader mounting hole that is present on our MitySOM-5CSx Development Board.
