Mike,
We found out that our Touch screen controller (TSC2004IRTJT) was at the same address as the power manager. One the reset was removed the touch screen controller would lock the bus up when it got accessed with an single byte acc...

MW 09:43 AM Software Development: RE: I2C Board Support Package
Hi Dennis,
I am looping back on this issue. We've have seen the I2C timeout issue now, but it was when we tried to use the i2c port immediately after boot up (e.g., early in an init.d script). The time out was occurring because udev...

MW 07:36 PM Software Development: RE: High speed USB port issue on MityDSPL138
Hello Mr. Csizmadia,
The Industrial I/O boards were originally designed to support client mode only for the USB 2.0 interface (USB0). This was why the connector is a B style instead of an A style. It was intended for a connection to...

ZC 05:45 PM Software Development: High speed USB port issue on MityDSPL138
Hi All,
I try to attach a USB memory on the high speed port (OTG port in host mode), but the memory is not recognized at all. If I do the same on the FS OHCI host, there is no problem, device is attached and file system recognized.

PS 04:18 PM Software Development: JTAG setup for CCSv3?
I've got a bit of a newbie question, but can anyone describe how to setup CCSv3.3 for JTAG access?
I've got a blackhawk 560, I added a custom board with a 6700 DSP, using the supplied GEL file, but I can't seem to get it to connect.

MW 01:26 PM PCB Development: RE: SYS_RESET_N Signal
Hello Mr. Mladenik,
I believe you are working with two types of boards and I'd like to make sure that we are talking about the same thing when we talk about revisions of hardware.
There is the MityDSP-L138F SoM. That is the daugh...

JM 12:37 PM PCB Development: RE: SYS_RESET_N Signal
Oh I retried an old version of the Kernal that did drive the SYS_RESET_N HI but none of the I2C worked they all time out. The command I use is "i2cdump -y 1 0x51" and it continuously gave a timeout and retry. John Mladenik
JM 12:01 PM PCB Development: SYS_RESET_N Signal
On your development board you tied the SYS_RESET_N (GP5[14] or MMCSD0_DAT7) signal to the active low reset on the Audio chip. On our board we did the same thing but we use a different Audio chip that is more suited our needs. Our sof... John Mladenik

MW 07:32 PM Software Development: RE: How Do I Get SD Memory Working for Critical Link Carrier Board From Linux
Hello Mr. Kasper,
We have used the MMC card with the Critical Link Carrier board here, mounting both a FAT as well as an ext2 partition. We've also been able to load/boot a kernel from it from u-Boot and mount a partition as a root f...
