MityDSP-L138F Failure to Boot and Cannot Reset
Added by minh tung over 11 years ago
Hello
I am using Industrial I/O board(80-000268RI-2 A) and 2 L138 board (L138-CG-225-RC ,L138-FG-225-RC).I got 2 issues:
(1) When I connect L138-CG-225-RC to Industrial I/O board. The Power Good LED lights up, and I can reset board, but the boot process goes no further. No data comes out the console UART and the FPGA done LED never lights.
(2) When I connect L138-FG-225-RC to Industrial I/O board. The issues is the same with L138-CG-225-RC board. In Addition, I cannot reset L138-FG-225-RC when I push down reset button(S101) on Industrial I/O board.
Can you give me some advances to overcome that issues.
Thanks,

I am assuming these are out of the box Development kits?
For (1) the console UART, please ensure you are using the serial cable provided with the kit (I believe the board requires a null modem cable connection).
For (2), when you say you cannot reset the board, you are looking for the power good LED to flash?

Hi,
Thank you so much for supporting.
For (1): At the first time. Now the board are running with null modem cable that is provided with the kit.
For (2): Yes, I am looking for the power good LED to flash?
Another question,
When I start up the L138-CG-225-RC with automatically booting. I cannot login , because I don't know about user and pass.
Can you give me some advance?
Thanks,
