Mounting Hole Location¶

The MitySOM-AM62x includes a figure (also shown below) noting the position of the single mounting hole. The mounting hole will allow users to secure the far side of the SOM in the event extreme vibration is anticipated. The standard DDR4 SODIMM connector is widely used on portable devices (computer laptops) and generally provides good shock and vibration performance without the need of the mounting hole/screw.

The datasheet figure should be treated as the governing drawing should the figure be updated.

The mounting hole size was intended to be used with an M2 standard machine screw.
